The Moleskine note is often thought of as a private very personal object but our goal here is to make filling it into a public activity. Based on the surrealist game of “exquisite corpse,” in which a collaborative story or picture is made by multiple participants each of whom only see their own contribution until the final result is revealed, attendees are invited to join in a large scale collaborative drawing game.
Utilizing Moleskine’s Japanese albums and pens, each participants would start drawing on a page of the journal. They would have 2 minutes to complete their drawing and pass the journal to the person next to them, who would then have 2 minutes to add their drawing, and so on. By the end of the hour, each of the journals would be full, having traveled the circle of the room. The activity will take place Saturday 24th of September at 4:30pm at the Tramshed venue.
